The Dashboard Tab can be accessed from the Home page and includes various options for a number of performance indicator widgets. The default setting for the widgets are Monthly for Increment and Last 90 Days for the Time Period except for the Cases Pending On Docket widget which has a default setting of “Next 28 Days” for the Time Period.

Customizing the Dashboard
Currently, the Dashboard has 10 widgets. Every user can configure the Dashboard to display only certain widgets they want to see or all of the widgets. This setting will be saved and will be the default every time the user logs in until it is changed. You can do this by clicking on the Config button at the top right section of the Dashboard.

This will open the Customize Dashboard dialog box where you can choose to display one, some or all of the widgets. All widgets marked with a checkmark will be displayed on your Dashboard. If you want to remove one or some, just remove the checkmark and click on the Save button.

Customize Location of Widgets on Dashboard
Click and drag any widget to move it around the dashboard. Make sure that the box with the dotted lines move to the new place so that the widget can move successfully to where you are dragging it to.

Graph widgets must stay on the top half of the page and Calendar, Cases Pending On Docket and Case List must stay on the bottom half but their locations within those areas are customizable.
View Data Behind Bar Charts
Hover your cursor over any bar in a bar chart or a section of the pie chart and the number of cases included in that bar or section will appear next to it.

Click on any bar in a bar chart or section of the pie chart and you will be redirected to the “Case List” which will automatically populate with all of the cases included in that bar or section of the pie chart.
From the Case List, you can click on any case number to be redirected to that case record.
Export Charts
If you are using Microsoft Edge, you can right click on a widget and select “Save As.”
Choose to save it as a picture file.
Alternatively, you can save a screenshot that includes multiple widgets if you are using Firefox. You can also use a snipping tool to take a screenshot of what you want in the Dashboard.
As a picture file, the graph can now easily be inserted into another application. For example, you can include it in a Word Document or a Power Point Presentation to add a dynamic visual aspect to reports and presentations on your CAC’s performance. You may also add it to an email or e-newsletter to catch the reader’s attention and convey information quickly.
The Widgets
1. Case Duration --- This widget will show how long it took a case to close and how long a case has been open. For Closed Cases, data shown on the widget are based on the Case Closed Date and Date Received by CAC under the General tab. For Open Cases, the data is based on the Report End Date and Date Received by CAC in the General tab. The Report End Date is calculated from the date today and the Time Period selected for this widget, i.e. Last 120 days, last 90 days, etc.

2. Elapsed Time to First Service --- This widget shows how long it took for the first services in the different disciplines to be done. This applies to CPS, FI, Medical, MH and VA services. The widget displays all cases in the CAC (cases shown still depend on a user’s access to cases) based on the following information:
CPS – Date of first Court Activity – Date Received by CAC
FI, Medical, MH and VA – Services/session log dates with status attended – Date Received by CAC

3. Weeks Elapsed Since Referral --- This widget essentially shows your aging cases as this displays cases where the user is assigned on a discipline page (CPS, FI, VA, Medical, MH, LE and Prosecution) in the case and the assigned services has not been completed or closed by the user. This will only show all open cases as well, which are cases with no Case Closed date and Case Closed Reason on the General tab.
This is the only widget that is fixed to show data in weekly increments.

4. Cases Involving Abuse --- This widget will show all cases where the Reason for Referral is “Allegation of Abuse” and are grouped by the types of Alleged Maltreatment for your center.

5. Elapsed time to first MDT meeting --- This widget will show a summary of cases grouped by the difference between the first MDT meeting date compared to the date the case was received. This will show the users the amount of time it takes to get ready for an MDT meeting.
Data used for this widget is the First MDT Meeting Date - Date Received by CAC for a specific time period where the Reason for Referral in the case is Allegation of Abuse and the Case Closed Date is empty.

6. Last Mental Health Contact --- This widget will display the number of cases who had recent contact with the MH personnel, meaning there was an attended session, based on the time period chosen.

7. Last Victim Advocacy Contact --- This widget will show the number of cases who had recent contact with the VA personnel, meaning there was an attended session, based on the time period chosen.

8. Cases Pending On Docket --- This widget is intended to highlight the cases that have an assigned court date based on the time period your center have set for this widget which can be within the next 7, 14, 21 or 28 days (inclusive of today).
Data from this widget comes from the Court Activities section from the CPS and Prosecution tabs.

9. Case List --- This widget will display select case and Bio information from the cases that comprise a bar or pie chart section that you click on one of the widgets. For example, when you click on a bar on any of the widgets with a bar graph, the Case List will be populated will show the cases that make up that particular bar.
The Case List has the columns Case Number, Alleged Victim/Client Name, Gender, Age, Date Received and Alleged Maltreatments. If you click on the case number from the Case Number column, it will redirect you to the selected case.
