NCAtrak will email or text families of upcoming appointments. All sessions that are added in NCAtrak includes a Send Reminder Button which provides the opportunity to email or text and appointment reminder.

When the Send Reminder Button is clicked an option box appears allowing the user to choose to send the reminder by text or email. Both the text and email has an option to be sent in Spanish. If the user is emailing the reminder in English there is an option to include Instructions.

Setting Up the Appointment Reminder Feature


To activate this option a Security Officer will need to update the CAC Contact Information and check the checkbox to allow email notifications. The reminders will list the CAC information from these fields.

An email or text will be sent to an Alleged Victim/Client, Caregiver, or Co-Victim if a cell phone number or email address is entered on the Case Specific Information page. Offenders, witnesses, and other roles will not receive a text or email.
