Management and Schedule Reports
The first kind of reports to examine in NCAtrak are prebuilt reports. There are two areas that contain reports that are built by the NCAtrak team to support your processes. The first area is the Management Reports – giving you the results of commonly asked nationwide questions. The second area deals with the reporting involving your calendars and appointments.

Case Reports
Inside every case, there is a Report tab. This tab allows you to build quick reports that pull entire sections of data from the other tabs in NCAtrak. You can get your results fast, but not with a great deal of control.

NCA Reports
One of the big advantages of using NCAtrak is that the product already understands what you are to turn in for your semi-annual statistics reporting. The NCA Reports area helps with that process.

Custom Reporting Overview
The Custom Reports area allows you to create reports that are specifically for your center and your specific reporting needs. This area will grow to contain a lot of queries and reports needed to help you understand what is happening at your CAC.

Analyzing Listing Queries
The first step in successfully creating a query is determining what it is that you want. Listing queries provide us lists of information about cases. How do we figure out which cases we want to show on the list? How do we determine what data from those cases are displayed? This video walks you through the process of thinking about a question in a detailed way that will allow you to easily teach the computer how to help us out.

Analyzing Summary Queries
Summary queries do math operations for us. Like counting cases, attended MH sessions, or finding the last Medical Appointment for a client. They work very similarly to Listing Queries and start with the same process: analyzing a question for what we are trying to do, how we want to display the results, and how to select the cases that are examined by the computer. The video below walks you through taking apart a question that involves a summary query.

Creating a Report
A query is simply a question we ask the database. A report is a way to link multiple queries together to tell a story for a manager, a board member, or a funder. This video demonstrates how to connect our queries together and get a lot of information from the database at one time.

Reports Set-up
